Project Summary:
We were asked to finish out a dark, damp, and dated basement in a home built in the early 1900’s for a growing family. Adding in period correct design features with custom cabinetry, shiplap, and handmade tile in the bathroom brings the old-world charm in the basement to life.
Careful attention to waterproofing, upgrading the electrical panel and earthquake strapping were integrated into the build as well. The result is a dry, healthy, bright and warm space that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
